Unable to launch application as a restricted user

Problem:
After completing the installation, the follow message appears when launching as a restricted user:
"Please run this program from the Administrator account so it can set up your license. Once the license is set up, you can run it from any account."
Cause:
A registry key required by the copy protection mechanism is not accessible to the application.
Solution:
Follow these steps to change the permissions on the required registry key and resolve this issue:
Note: The following steps require manual changes to the Windows Registry. Please create a backup of your Windows Registry by highlighting "My Computer" and clickiing "Registry > Export Registry File" or "File > Export". Select a location and name to save the backup file to.
To access the registry for Windows XP and Windows Vista Users:
- Click "Start > Run". (In Windows Vista, Click the "Start" button and put the cursor into the "Start Search" field).
- Type "regedit" without the quotes.
- Click "OK". (In Windows Vista, press the "Enter" key).
- In the left panel, locate the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Licenses
- Right click on the key and select permissions
- Select "Full Control" and check off "Allow" for each user on the system.
- Exit out of the registry
To access the registry for Windows 2000 Users:
- Click "Start > Run".
- Type "regedt32" without the quotes. Click "OK".
- Select the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" panel.
- In this panel , locate the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Licenses
- With "License" selected, choose "Security > Permissions".
- Select "Full Control" and check off "Allow" for each user on the system.
- Exit out of the registry
